T he BeginningThe Ultimate Script was a project that was originally started by Epsilon81 (a member of The Ultimate Staff) in 1996 (I joined a year after he started it). The Ultimate Script was a war/protection script for the IRC chat client mIRC. it was never intended to be public, but we believed that it was so good, that it would be wrong to keep it for ourselves. so in early 1998, we released the first version of The Ultimate Script to the general public on Dalnet. the script became an instant success. little did we know how far it would really go. Epsilon81 stayed part of the team for the next version, and then left IRC to pursue a real life. I took over fully at that point. I released the next version by myself (2.0) and began to get together funds for a domain. this is the time that epsilon81 and Mind Maker both joined back the team (The Ultimate Staff). Although the script was a success, I still knew very little about programming. I had never done it before I started scripting for mIRC. Epsilon81 on the other hand was a seasoned programmer and was also very skilled with mIRC scripting. He is the person that truely revolutionized The Ultimate Script. At the same time, was developing programs exclusively for The Ultimate Script. Programs such as Click, Icmpwatch, Portscan and WaKo flood bots have continued to live on, even though The Ultimate Script is no longer. Two things happened after this. The first was the large scale development of ultimatestaff.org, which also became the host of multiple web sites. Sites such as slackers, the hpvac shop, the list and others became quite popualar. The ultimatestaff domain soon had its 100 thousand visitor and we were on the virge of releasing a new script. The new script was Ultimate Script 2.5, it was the final release by the original Ultimate Staff crew. It went on to become probably the single most popular and influential script to ever be released for mIRC. The
End many supporters close to The Ultimate Staff made valiant efforts to re-create the domain and get it running, but it just never happened. That is why it is closed down. I would still like to see ultimatestaff.org as something more than this boring personal site, but I don't have the time at this point in my life to continue it. I have also been promised too many times by too many people that they would get it going again. A New Era F ile ArchiveI have received around a hundred e-mails from people recently asking if I could send them the script. I am sorry that I didn't reply to any of these, but I just don't have the time to always be sending out files to people. I have decided to post what I have left up here. I lost all the original versions that I had archived in a hard drive crash.
